As pathologists’ assistants, we will be not only be called upon to teach but will also be working with professionals of various specialties and degree levels. we are preparing for our roles as future educators by largely incorporating teaching practices into our education here at Tulane. So far, we have been given many opportunities to teach other students about our program and what we are currently learning. This semester, we are enrolled in classes with undergraduate students and graduate students of a wide variety of majors and backgrounds (pre-PA, pre-pathA, pre-med, etc.). Working alongside these students has exposed us to the various degree programs and has given us the opportunity to engage with students outside of our program. As graduate students, we are required to complete extra assignments in our classes such as presentations and essays. Today some of our classmates gave an excellent presentation on Hypertension to the Physiology class. Great job to our Dani, Jill, and Taylor, and Alison (MS in Neuroscience)! #tulaneten
