View this post on Instagram Back review by Jillian Aveni - I mentioned in the video that the transverse cervical artery (the arterial supply for the trapezius muscle) would be important later on when we talked about the rhomboids and the levator scapulae. That's because, as I forgot to mention, the transverse cervical artery divides into deep and superficial branches. The deep branch is also known as the dorsal scapular artery, the arterial supply for rhomboid major, rhomboid minor, and the levator scapulae. Thanks for watching!
