Taylor Harris

Hi! My name is Taylor Harris and I’m from Bloomington, Illinois. I earned a B.A. in Biological Psychology from McKendree University (Lebanon, IL) in 2017. Fun facts about me: I was a nationally ranked competitive cheerleader for 4 years (GO BEARCATS!). I’m the second oldest of nine children. I’ve also watched every season of Scandal – all 124 episodes – five times and currently working on the sixth. Most importantly, I’m a dog mom to a wonderful pup named Xander. My journey in healthcare has taken me from being a Certified Nursing Assistant, to a Residential Treatment Counselor, then a Mohs Surgery/Histology Tech. Working in histology introduced me to the wonders of laboratory science, specifically Pathology. Pathology combines the best parts of science and service by examining disease at its most basic level while also guiding patient treatment. I live by the belief that if you have the opportunity to make someone’s life better, you do it. Becoming a Pathologists’ Assistant gives me the opportunity to make people’s lives better every day.
